THRIVE is a rehab-driven initiative to increase specialized care for patients with neurological conditions and physical disabilities at St. John’s Health. Patients with neurological conditions such as spinal cord injury, stroke, traumatic brain injury, and Parkinson’s, and others, have increased barriers to achieving optimum health. They are often forced to travel long distances for their medical and rehabilitative care and have less opportunity for engagement in physical and social activities.

THRIVE aims to minimize these barriers by improving three components: prevention, recovery, and wellness. In October 2020, we were granted funds from the Craig H. Neilsen Foundation to purchase innovative rehabilitative technologies as the first step in this process. Our team of occupational therapists, physical therapists, and speech-language pathologists is dedicated to neurological rehabilitation and is here to meet your needs. We offer a wheelchair seating shop, ankle foot orthotic trial, annual wellness visits, home safety evaluations, functional electrical stimulation, and traditional neurological rehabilitation. It is our hope that we can help individuals living in the greater Teton Valley thrive and not just survive.
