Vestibular Rehabilitation
Vestibular Rehabilitation addresses various types of dizziness. Whether a patient is experiencing an internal dizziness (described as an internal wave or feeling off balance), true vertigo (world spinning dizziness that make it difficult to move), or a feeling that their balance is simply not where it should be, vestibular rehabilitation can help. The vestibular system is a small intricate organ in your inner ear. It is one part of a three-part system that affects balance. The other two systems involved in balance are your vision and somatosensory (sense of feel) system. Vestibular rehabilitation specialists identify which aspect of your balance system is impaired. They provide in-clinic and home-based treatments to enable patients to feel safe and put their best foot forward while tackling those trails!
