Chris Smithwick, M.A, CCC-SLP, CBIS

Chris is a graduate of Jackson Hole High School and is happy to be back in Wyoming. When he is not at work, you will find him on a bike.

Chris specializes in cognitive skills therapy for people with brain injuries, concussions, strokes, chemotherapy-induced cognitive impairment (aka “chemo brain”), ADD, mild cognitive impairment, dementia, and other neurological conditions. He also treats swallowing disorders, stuttering and other speech disorders, and aphasia. He is trained in cognitive-behavior therapy and incorporates this into therapy to help address some of the emotional impacts a change in function can have. He loves the variety his job provides and getting to know and learn from people of all ages and backgrounds.

Education: Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 2013
