Andi joined Teton Physical Therapy & Rehab in June 2023. After working in the region for St. John’s Hospital, Teton Orthopedics and Pro-Active Rehab (Pinedale), she moved to Spokane, WA to work in a movement analysis laboratory at Shriners Hospitals for Children. There she focused on evaluation of mobility, gait and running using high tech equipment. The 3D system utilized infrared cameras and force plates to produce kinematics and kinetics, complemented by electromyography (including fine wire), energy expenditure, 2D video, foot pressure analysis and physical examination data. Working with a multidisciplinary team that included physical therapists, orthopedists, engineers and other ancillary personnel, she participated in helping make treatment decisions for children with movement disorders. Research and teaching were strong components in this specialized environment. After getting a Masters in Environmental Health from Harvard, she returned to Jackson and focused on applying movement analysis knowledge to people of all abilities. Currently she feels fortunate to work with patients, families and other professionals in the home as a home health physical therapist. She is honored to be welcomed into someone’s home where she aims to help them maximize their independence and help them return safely to functional activities and beyond for the best quality of life.
